We're doing some hiring at work right now, so figured i'd pass this along to anyone who may be interested. The job description doesn't include drupal, but we could definitely use some more people with Drupal skills.

Is there anything anyone would like to see covered, or cover themself for the February meeting?

Tom, did you get a chance to read the High Performance Drupal book? Maybe could give us your thoughts on that?

Just want to follow up on the discussions we've had at the last couple of meetups. The Peace Geeks folks have requested that we do the install and configuration of the site (what the group decided for the initial scope) on Saturday, November 9th. We would start at 10am and aim to have everything done by 2pm latest. Trevor and I are confirmed for that day. PLEASE REPLY HERE to let us know if you're in, or if you have any questions.

Are you brave or cautious?!

I believe that most our regular attendees are aware that as a group we are building a site for both training purposes and to provide a launch pad for new members to find recommended resources. We have taken the initial steps:

• Web Domain - http://www.drupalnovascotia.ca
• Initial server setup - Using HostGator for now
• Loaded a Vanilla Drupal install

This is meant to be something fun and educational. We will be using tools such as GIT and Drush and giving everyone a chance to work with them. If there is something you want to learn more about, here is your chance.

I have been crazy busy and completely dropped the ball on this months meeting. At the end of last months meeting we decided we would just grab some wings at a pub somewhere in bedford, drupal discussion optional.

Is anyone interested in doing this in the next couple of weeks? Maybe we can hash out Septembers meeting details while we are it.

Summer is here and as such I know our numbers dwindle a bit. Wondering everyone's thoughts on just finding a patio somewhere (assuming weather is good, this is nova scotia after all) and grabbing some wings and beverages?
