Primary links

I have installed openpublic on my hosted site and I am having fun playing around it the website. I have had a couple of issues.
1. During install - I had to add a php.ini file to my godaddy hosting to allow for more memory. Not difficult task... just bump up the memory to 128mb. php_value memory_limit 128M
2. I had a colorbox fix. I just down loaded the file and ran a status report and it fixed it.
3. I had a twitter feed error and I just googled the error and replaced the file with the maintainers file and it fixed the problem.
All in all it looks good...however

Home link not marked Active in menu system

I am using OpenPublish 2.2 and I would added some child links under the Home link in the primary menu system. What I found is that the Home link is not marked active by the system when I am on the front page, so the "on" class isn't added to that link, so the child links aren't displayed unless you hover over the link. I would like them to show by default. I know that the main menu system is controlled by openpublish-menu.tpl.php in sites/all/modules/openpublish_core/openpublish_menu. This is the code that appears there:

Easy way to create tabs out of primary links with the Genesis subtheme?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but here goes:

I'm using the Genesis subtheme. I was wondering if there is an easy way to get a tabbed primary menu. I actually want it to look just like the tabs that are available when an administrator is editing the content of a node -- the tabs that say "View", "Edit", "Track" etc. Is there CSS for this somewhere that I can look at? I'm also googling, searching through discussion groups, etc., but haven't found a definite answer yet.

I tried Superfish menus, but it seems to cause problems with my site in Internet Explorer.

How to set the source for primary and secondary links based on subdomain name?

I am using Drupal 6.1 and need to support multiple domains with some shared and some unique content. Domain Access, a fantastic product by agentrickard, has solved most of my issues.

Each site, example.com, one.example.com and two.example.com has its own menu. Placing all 3 menus in a region and using a little PHP to show only the correct menu based on $base_url works fine.
