We are a group that organizes developers for the purpose of Drupal education. We offer free eBooks, and aggregate YouTube videos on our website. In addition, we offer face-to-face and remote Drupal education directly to entrepreneurs and business owners.

How to make a hospital management system by using Drupal?
A hospital management system has 2 main parts:
+ Electric medical records (or electric health record): medical history, ultra-sound, X-ray,...
+ eCommerce for managing drugs, disposables, medical equipment, services, orders, ...
It also needs some other features: booking, notification, ...
Drupal has many modules that can do 2 above parts and many features without code

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has produced the largest number of Drupalers till date, than any other Engineering college in India. Most of them work full time on Drupal at various Drupal shops across India and are very active on local Drupal communities.

The irony is that these set of Drupalers had shared classrooms earlier at VIT and have resided in same building but were never aware that there were fellow Drupalers around. This group aims at bridging this gap by bringing together Drupalers at VIT

Most of the Drupal community is focused on building Drupal. Given the open-source nature of Drupal, the notion of selling Drupal for commercial gain is often an overlooked topic that is nevertheless crucial to everyone's ability to continue contributing to the Drupal community. This group is focused on how best to quite literally sell Drupal to the world--both in terms of the case for Drupal versus other platforms, as well as how best to go about putting together Drupal-based projects and proposals with the objective of 'sales' in mind.

Notice: We are not using separate group for each year's Summer of code any more. Everything should be happening in https://groups.drupal.org/google-summer-code from now on!

As Drupal evolves into a viable enterprise cms solution, there is a growing need for an effective set of certification standards.

Enterprise IT architecture selection and deployment processes include the need for qualified resources with experience in a wide range of skillsets, not just in software development and testing.

The Drupal community must develop a broad array of skills if it is to offer a viable alternative to vendor specific web/cms solutions at the enterprise level. We need more than programmers to win these corporate and government deployments.

OpenDrupal aims to open new doors into Drupal. It can be difficult to start a career as a Drupal developer, and many young people aren’t aware it’s an option. With cooperation from developers, educators and the community, we can create high quality, free and Open Source training materials to make it easier to run effective Drupal training programmes.

Let’s make it easier to become part of the Drupal community, encourage and enable companies to invest in Apprenticeships, Internships and Training, and work together, sharing knowledge and setting standards.
