The Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group will be holding its next educational and interactive, face-to-face meeting on Tuesday, September 21st from 7pm to 9pm at ForeSite Technologies, 99 East River Drive, 7th Floor, East Hartford, CT 06108, as it continues to build and strengthen the community of Drupal developers, designers, administrators, content creators and other stakeholders in Connecticut. Come meet fellow Drupalists.

We're now on our fourth meetup! We'd love to see you CT and Westchester (or even North Jersey) folks come on out.

Do you want to learn more about what Solr offers? Want to go beyond just copying the packaged schema.xml and solrconfig.xml files, and use more of the rich Solr features for search applications?

Special interest group meets monthly to learn about web site development using Drupal. The Danbury Area Computer Society (DACS) is a 25-year old user group serving the greater Danbury area.

Due to no signup, and also because DrupalCampNYC is this coming weekend, I've canceled the Lower Fairfield meetup for this month. We'll have another one in August where hopefully we'll be able to discuss the upcoming DrupalCampCT!

As part of Social Web Week CT, http://www.socialwebct.com there is going to be a 'Technologists and Entrepreneurs Meetup' on Monday July 12th from 3 to 5 PM. It will be followed by a New Media Haven meetup. The goal is to get developers and entrepreneurs talking and I hope to get a bunch of Drupal folks showing up.

The Meetup will start of with developers briefly talking about their favorite platforms. I am prepared to speak on why I like to use Drupal, but if someone else wants to speak on that, I might be able to speak on some other topics.
