New Central CT Meetup Schedule

As some of you might have read, we posted the next Central CT Drupal meetup for May 8th. So starting with our meetup in May, the central ct drupal meetup will be meeting the Second Wednesday every month, instead of the 3rd Tuesday every month.

The group has had a great working relationship with New Horizons and New Horizons has been very accommodating and has a great facility for us to use. So when New Horizons asked if we could move our meetup to align with some of the other meetups they hold the second Wednesday each month, we decided that it was a good idea.

Calling all members

In an effort to expand the reach, size and attendance of our group and meetups, we are in the process of opening more lines of communication. Recently, Matt (mwetmore) started tweeting @ctdrupal and created a LinkedIn group. To further support this effort, we have created a group on Meetup.com and a new Facebook page. But, simply having these new channels will only get us so far. We are reaching out to ask for your help in getting these off the ground and attractive to newcomers. If you would please do any/all of the following, we would certainly appreciate it!

Need for New Meeting Space for the Central CT Drupal Meetup

We will need to find a new meeting space for the Central CT Drupal Meetup. I have several phone calls and emails out to different possibilities, however, as of today, I am still looking for a new location.

If you have a suggestion, location or contact for a location that we may consider, please let me know.

We would like a place that can hold up to a dozen people, and ideally, with a projection system and access to the Internet.

We will meet at Luna's Pizza on Tuesday 4/17 for our next meeting at 5:30pm or so, and worst case, will head over to a Panera's Bread for our meeting.
