Rules create multiple child nodes with referencing to a parent node, based on CCK value
Hi,
I'm trying to learn the Drupal techniques quick but even with reading a lot in the Drupal.org, Drupal groups and watching screencast, I can not manage to get one thing done with Rules.
I'm sure it is possible, hopefully somebody can help me with this.
This is the functionality I'm looking for:
I have a nodetype "parent" and another nodetype "child".
The parent nodetype has a field "amount".
The child nodetype has a nodereference field pointing to a single "parent" node.
When a node of nodetype "parent" is saved, I would like to fire a Rule which does the following:

I have a scenario that is baffling me and would like some help on how to tackle this with regard to Drupal 7
I have user role for which I want regular authenticated users to be able to schedule them for appointments (role = service providers). I want to have a field on the Service Provider's account profile in which the Service Provider (SP) can enter their hourly rate. Also, I have created a content type called "appointment" with a date field (based on the date module) so that anonymous users can schedule appointments with the Service Providers.

I think that it would be nice to have a list of the most useful modules for social networking sites. groups.drupal.org/social-networking-sites has a very short list of useful modules on its home page. I think it would be a great idea to expand the list.
