omega 3.x

I have a problem getting my sub theme (with a custom grid) to work like a standard Omega sub theme.

Am using Omega 3.x which is working really fine. The responsiveness is killer!
However i ran into issues when, for example on a mobile device, i need an option to view the full site but omega can't render the full site[as it is] on the mobile device with responsiveness enabled .

Is there any way i can view the full site on the mobile device? Or, does it mean disabling responsiveness completely and developing a mobile version?

[Which means a user can even view the mobile content on a desktop using the switch to mobile site/regular site ]

Hey everyone... pardon the noob question here but would like to get some feedback regarding when to use or perhaps a proper workflow for using Delta, Context, Rules, etc. when it comes to the Omega theme. I haven't delved into Delta or Context yet (next in my list of things-to-learn).

Here's my situation:

I have a few Omega sites that work well. Very well. However I could use the following:

Depending on which media query is active, I need certain blocks and content to populate different regions/zones as the browser scales.

Being more of a site builder/solutions architect than a themer, I often find it cost-effective to purchase a 'premium' theme for clients (mostly non-profits) who can't afford a full-on design process. However, I haven't found many sources offering responsive themes.

Is anyone aware of anyone selling relatively low-cost (sub $100) themes based on Omega?

I'm looking for some help with creating a custom zone.tpl.php..

Is possible to print each region separately?

So rather than just using

I have been using the Omega framework to build out my ORG's blog and recently updated to 7.x-3.0. After I uploaded that version I no longer get the fluid and smooth layout I once did.

It seems as though the content block and sidebar second no longer are floating left and inline properly in IE8. I have even went as far as turning off any global styles I may have added to my site to see if that was effecting the layout and nothing. Same result.

I've been reading all of the information I can find about the default Omega layout settings. One source I read stated that the default Narrow Layout would go into effect on an iPad in the portrait view (as well as on the iPhone and smaller devices).

But from what I can tell looking at the Media query used, the default Narrow layout would not go into effect in the portrait mode on the iPad, given the media query being used ...(max-device-width: 800px) and (min-width: 740px) and (orientation:landscape). This seems like the preferred behavior.

Am I interpreting the effects of the Narrow layout settings correctly?

I'm adding this link here because the wiki doesn't show up on the Omega Framework group's main page & it's not mentioned on the d.o Omega project page. Though the docs that exist in this wiki are temporary until the microsite is complete, there is a lot of info here that I think many who are new to 3.x will find useful.
