pulling data from MLS via RETS protocol

hi all!

i'm fairly new to Drupal. i'm trying to evaluate if i'm hitting the right road. i want to build a real-estate site with data imported from an MLS using the RETS protocol. so far, i see one module, dRealty IDX, that could be of use but it's still on it's beta release and not advisable for production sites. any thoughts on how could i forgo with this real-estate project? trying my luck.. maybe some of you have inputs for this. thank you! :)

The dRealty developers have launched an IRC channel on freenode. Join #drupal-realestate with your irc client, or click here to join with the web client.

For those who don't know, dRealty IDX has recently been under heavy development. It is quickly becoming a very polished solution for tightly integrating RETS MLS with Drupal.

PIRETS for the People!

Finally, at long last, PIRETS, the premiere RETS listing import module for Drupal (that I know of), is available to the public at large. Check out its project page on Drupal.org.

This release coincides with the launching of PIRETS.info, a site intended to be the community and development hub for all things PIRETS, in much the same way Ubercart has Ubercart.org.

Ferndale Real Estate gets Drupalized!

Working on massive updates to MLS module

Hi everyone,

After a long hiatus from working on the MLS module (http://groups.drupal.org/node/12419), I'm back at it and working on some massive updates/improvements to the module. If any of you have tried to use it, you probably know that it's super confusing, very difficult to use and incredibly fragile. To address these issues I'm overhauling how the module interfaces between VieleRETS and Drupal.

MLS Module released

Hi Everyone,

I published a RETS/IDX MLS feed module to Drupal last night, you can get it here: http://drupal.org/project/mls

Be forewarned - this is in ALPHA, meaning I wouldn't recommend it for production systems. I have been testing it for my own purposes, and am still not 100% convinced to make it live for my client - but it's very close. The module is admittedly clunky, but I needed to hack something together fairly quickly and this is what I've come up with ;)

Here's what it does:
