Drupal market survey

The German Drupal Association is currently developing a market survey, targeting all people who
* (try to) make a living of
* are thinking about specializing in
* are corporative users of
Drupal.

We're aiming at gathering valid figures for more solid arguments on various occasions (lobbying activities, negotiations, promotional activities ...)

If anyone or any community fragment has ever outlined a similar survey, we'd be glad to compare and share.

We want your thoughts on Drupal! (quick survey)

Hey all! We're conducting a 13-question survey to better understand what users of Drupal find lacking in several areas, including themes, e-commerce, and support. The responses will be used for data in a series of free reports for the community, and also to help us create products/services that better serve your needs. Personal/contact information is optional. We'll also be sharing the (anonymized) results so they can benefit everyone. Thanks!

Take the survey

Posted here for completeness, please head over to that thread for comments about the report specifically.

Things done well:
- Including the larger Drupal community in the audience.
- Making clear distinctions about audiences and their needs where appropriate.
- Friendly license.
- The report was well-informed from a Drupal development perspective, such as mentioning themeability where appropriate.
