Slider

Hola resulta que estuve haciéndole a mi sitio web unas optimizaciones, como el cache de páginas para anónimos y para bloques, comprimir archivos js y css etc, y luego de eso mi nivo slider que esta en la página principal se daño, ya no funcionaba su javaScript salían todas las imágenes hacia abajo y al final los links, luego desactive el cache para todas las páginas y ahora si me funciona, esto a que se debe??

Ellos colocan las noticias que ellos quieren que salga ahí con el título y una corta descripción, ¿alguien sabe con qué modulo, o algún tutorial donde digan como hacer algo parecido a lo que hay en ese website?

He subido una imagen para explicar mejor lo que necesito hacer.

En la home, un slide de nodos. Pero no un slide viendose las miniaturas abajo, simplemente una imagen superpuesta a la otra que se cambie cada "x" segundos.
En otro proyecto tuve que hacer otro slide, pero esta vez estático y fue sin problemas.

I have a multi-site Drupal installation. It has two sites that share the database. Each site runs on its own sub-domain.

The sites share most of the nodes.

In the homepage of each site I have a slider. I want to promote certain nodes to appear in the slider.

My problem is this: I can't find a way to promote a node in one site but not in the other. Is there a way to do this? To publish a node in both sites but to promote it only in one of them.

I have a series of headings with text and images underneath. I want it so just the headings show, and when you click on a heading the content slides out. Clicking the heading again will hide the content.

This is basically what im trying to achieve;

This is similar to the accordion except that I want users to be able to have multiple sections open at once. With the accordion (as far as i know) clicking on a different heading will close one thats open.

I have been experimenting with some of the rotator and slideshow modules and I am still a little puzzled how to proceed. I am basically trying to replicate the functionality of the "slider" element from the New York Times (see the bottom of page "Inside NYTIMES.COM" where there is typically the section, an image (but not always) and then the article title. There is an arrow pager on the upper-right side of the slider.
