DrupalCon Portland is up and running. There are a number of TC Drupal regulars here in rainy Portland soaking up lots of great Drupal knowledge and ideas. To make sure that we can come back and share this with everyone, we've moved the meetup (which would have happened tonight) to NEXT Wednesday the 29th from 7-9. Reformat Product Page
I made it through setting up my first ecommerce site using Drupal 6 & Ubercart. All in all not too bad. Stunbled here or there but eventually figured things out. What I don't care for is how the product pages are formatted. They are functional but boring. I would like to spice them up a bit. Do you have any tips on how to best go about this? Perhaps there is some type of tutorial out there?

Wednesday, February 27 is our 4th Wednesday for this month and that means User Group Meetings. I've done a lot of delving into Kickstart 2 and can report on some of the "problems" I've come across as well as good stuff and I still like it.

I am about to launch into adding a store to a farily new site. I have not one before so I am doing some research. It would appear that for my needs Ubercart would be a better fit than the Drupal Commerce modue if for no other reason than Ubercart sounds more user friendly and easier to implement out of the box. Given that this is a first endeavor for me and I would like to get something implemented in a couple weeks time, I am leaning that way.

Twin Cities Drupal Camp 2013 (MN)
The Twin Cities Drupal Camp will be held Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21 in Minneapolis MN. Camp kicks off with a day of classes on Thursday, followed by two days of workshops, and closes with a sprint on Sunday.

No meetups in December! We've decided to cancel the December TC Drupal and TC Ubercart and Ecommerce group meetups which were scheduled for next Wednesday, December 26th (Boxing Day!). Our normal venue, Intermedia Arts will be officially closed next week and almost everyone we know will be otherwise occupied.
So, let's live it up for the holidays and get together next at the regular monthly TC Drupal Happy Hour which is scheduled for the following week on Thursday January 3rd at the Blue Nile in Minneapolis (official announcement to be posted soon -- hint hint...).

uc_orders with paypal
Hi all,
I'm just getting started with Ubercart and Paypal. While trouble-shooting an order, I noticed that all the Paypal records (i.e., payment_method = paypal_ec) in the in the uc_orders table have nothing (i.e., 'N') in the data field. Is that normal, or did I miss a setting somewhere?

I'm using the Ubercart Discount Coupons with Ubercart 3.x and need to establish a coupon that will discount a set of books from $149.00 to $120.00, offer free shipping and charge no tax. (I don't think Ubercart Discount Coupons allows set prices yet, so I'm trying to use rules)
I have set up rules to trigger free shipping and no tax when the coupon is applied, but I'm having a difficult time setting the product price to $120.00 per applicable item in cart. Which rules parameter should I be looking for? Can someone point me in the right direction?

August Twin Cities Commerce meeting
Hello everyone!
Hopefully all have had a great summer and are back from Drupalcon and ready to talk about all they have done. I am returning from my summer office on Tuesday the 28th and am saddened to say I have one more trip in September to take my boat out of the water and get it ready for winter.
As a result of my return, YES, WE WILL MEET on Wednesday, August 29, 6-7pm, the hour prior to the rescheduled TC Drupal User's Group meeting.
