Drupal Camp Munich

Dear UK group

Back in 2010 the Drupal Munich team hosted the very first Drupal DevDays. After a gap of 6 years, we have decided it's time for us to host another event, and we are excited to invite you to DrupalCamp Munich 2016.

Call-for-sessions is now open, and we would be delighted to receive your session proposals on any of the listed topics. Speakers for accepted sessions will receive a free ticket.

We look forward to seeing you at DrupalCamp Munich 2016 and to drinking a mug or two of "Gluhwein" together.

Cheers
Martin

Your DrupalCamp Brighton needs YOU!

Hi all,

As you know we have a DrupalCamp Brighton coming up in June and we have very limited resources for getting stuff done and we need your help.

For Friday we discussed doing a half-day introductory training and half day business-type event along with providing space for sprints but currently we will have to drop this if we don't get more hands on deck. I realise often this is just a case of us asking so... we're asking! Remember also we don't have a Drupal if we don't have sprints, plus it will attract top Drupal talent from London and around the world.

User group organiser meeting?

Following on from a BoF that we had at DrupalCamp London earlier this year about how user groups and DrupalCamps could collaborate more and learn from each other, and a few subsequent things, I had an idea of having a user group for user group organisers so that we can discuss what different groups and organisers are doing, what works well, how to promote events etc.

As an organiser for the South Wales and Bristol groups, I'd personally be interested to know what others are doing and what's working for them.

Drupal Global Training Days Fri 21 + Sat 22 August

Drupal Global Training Days is an exciting initiative from the Drupal Association to introduce new and beginning users to Drupal. The Association partners with companies around the world to make newcomers to the Drupal community feel inspired and empowered to start great work.

Once a quarter, free or low cost training events take place around the globe with a single but flexible curriculum. It's also a great opportunity for companies to showcase their Drupal services and impact on their regions. The next Global Training Days weekend is August 21 and 22.
