Call for Lightning Talks
This month we are again putting out a call for themed lightning talks. Volunteers get between 5 to 10 minutes to present a talk. We are looking for talks on the following topic:
Development Workflow
Lets talk Development and Deployment Workflow. This wide ranging topic affects the daily lives of Drupal developers and system administrators. Like many things with Drupal, there are a number of ways to approach this. Each method has advantages and disadvantages depending on the specific use case. Some presentation ideas might include:
- D8 Configuration Management for multiple environments
- Acquia/Pantheon/Platform deployment workflows
- Git branching strategies
- Continuous Integration providers and strategies
- Optimal IDE configuration
- Code hosting comparison (Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, ...)
- Composer tips and tricks
