Welcome to VANDUG!
The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.
The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.
We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

Hi everyone, there's a few people that have been trying to organize a location for Drupal Camp 2010. So far, we have it happening sometime in May, most likely Thurs/Fri May 28-29th.
Anyway, we have been investigating Venues, but haven't had a good fit for our criteria, so I would like to ask if anyone has some ideas about venues if they could email me at phillip [at] agentic.ca, especially if they have some ideas around getting a venue donated.
Here's our criteria:
1) Space for about 200 people
2) 4-5 breakout rooms for about 30-40 people at once
3) Awesome wifi
Festive Coworking Funtimes!
As Scott (aka. Humble) said, "Coffee with rum and soynog, xmas cartoons and Drupal. What could be better than that?"
**A little more on coworking**
Coworking is where a bunch of people get together and work in the same space, on their own projects. Partly, just because it's fun; partly, because it gives people the opportunity to share knowledge and collaborate.

Hello there.
Doesn't seem like there's a formal meet-up planned for this month. Would people like to get together for a bit of a social next week - just get together and chat Drupal, ask and answer Drupal questions?
What about getting together on Wednesday 25th at 7.30/8.00pm at the Irish Heather? I suggest this as Francis is having a meeting to discuss his work space idea at the library at 6.00pm on this day (http://groups.drupal.org/node/33042#comment-106702) so there might already be a concentration of Drupallers in the city that evening.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Bad Idea?
Read moreUse one compound field or many fields, which is the good practice?
I got a problem when developing a compound field (Drupal 6, cck 2). It has an Imagefiled, a few textarea/textfield/checkboxes, etc.
I realize that I must allow users to upload multiple images. Unfortunately, the compound field as an entire field can be set to allow "unlimited" number of values , but not the individual field (the image field) in the compound field. I step into module files and database and did some research, and found it is hard to achieve this by using "Drupal Way".
