sammys and I would like to conduct an informal training seminar on Thursday 7th, in the late afternoon. In this tutorial, we'll go over some basics when it comes to building a module from scratch and also looking at how CCK can be used to make our work a bit easier.
This tutorial will be free, and a great chance for people with limited experience to get a head start on the basics. Please spread this word around any Drupal using, Non-profit orgs you know of.
We do need a venue, not too worried about location. The time we think will be between 2pm and 6pm. Yes, it's a bit last-minute but isn't everything that's good in life? For example, I always drop my kids off late to school...

The biggest factor is lack
The biggest factor is lack of people at such short notice. I have not had time to contact NPOs. Lack of people means no venue offers, but a small number of people could be handled in a cafe or some such.

Hi, I just spoke to Sammy and we've not going ahead due to numbers. This was a bit rushed though, I'll be going ahead with something later that is better organised. It was just a chance to do this while Sammy was in Melbourne.
