This group is aimed to get Austrian Drupal people together. All Austrian are invited to discuss Drupal related topics, find partners for collaboration or help organising meetings/workshops in Austria. As well it would be great to raise awareness amongst local developers and website owners to use Drupal.

A major problem - urgent help required
Hello,
48 hours ago we had 2 things working that do not work now. And we must get them back to working.
1) My User, Jeremy, has all rights of the system currently. So do my other programmers. They have the right to change which users see which themes - at least they did have that ability. The one module that was installed was the development module, which we disabled again. Now we have no way to select which user sees which theme (this is an ability which our system must have).

Hallo!
Ich bin noch recht neu bei Drupal und arbeite gerade an einem Projekt, bei dem ich echt Probleme habe.
Zuerst mal zum Projekt:
Es geht um eine Plattform, um die Events auf Kleinbühnen populärer zu machen - also eine Art "Werbe"plattform. Ich hab vor, die Seite mit Drupal 6 zu realisieren.
Folgendes sollte am Anfang inkludiert sein:
- Eventkalender (filtrierbar nach Region und Genre)
- Lokalprofile (filtrierbar nach Region, Genre und anderen... )
- Musikerprofile (filtrierbar nach Genre)
- Forum

My idea is to use FOSS methodologies or what is called peer based commons production also in an academic context in the arts and humanities. I recognised that there is a "method gap" between computer people and what I positively call hackers (computer enthusiasts using free and open source software) and people doing research on the PhD level and beyond in the arts and humanities.

Semantic Drupal FP7: Code sprint series
Last week at Drupalcon in Boston I realised that it's just not possible to apply for a development FP7 (the 7th Framework Program of the European Union) for Drupal. Things are going so fast that any plan would be obsolete before the project could get granted. That's why I think it would be the most interesting to do a proposal for a series of expert meetings throughout Europe that brings together people to discuss their implementation of the semantic web in Drupal, every time followed by a code sprint.

Hello to all,
As a newb to this group the first thing I want to do is posting a question:
Is there some possibility to display a splash message?
To be more concrete: F.e. Max is a user on a platform now fow a while, then the general terms and conditions change (like on studivz now f.e.) and the next time when he log's into the start side of the platform a message is displayed in front of him to accept the terms and conditions. After accepting, the normal start site of the platform is displayed.

Buddylist2 is ready for testing!
I started developing buddylist2 a while ago, and now I need some feedback and/or serious issues to finish it. After a stable version i will port it to drupal6.
I have written a little documentation to get started. (suggestions for improvement is welcome)
it would be glad to have a stable version soon.
