Central Eastern Pennsylvania

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.
This group should probably have more organizers. See documentation on this recommendation.

Welcome to the Central Eastern Pennsylvania group! Because Pennsylvania covers a lot of territory we need to break it up into manageable pieces where groups are able to get together. Come on Drupal enthusiast!

Organizers:
Event type:
User group meeting

August is going to be tough for me too, and since Aaron can't make it I am pushing this to September. I also pushed this to Tuesday. We can meet at Panera, in Camp Hill. From there we can see who shows up and perhaps rotate between the two panera's on the east and west shores. Or if we want to move to a more formal setting, we can get a class room at ITT. We can discuss what we want to talk about initially, now and come prepared or just wing it. I am working on several interesting project any of which I can choose from and talk about.

Use Drupal? In a University? Want to join forces?

I've been talking to a few University / College types lately and been asking them one thing -- If a group existed that was dedicated towards Drupal for Universities, would you be interested? Thus far the few that we've pitched this idea to have been very receptive. I posted recently about this idea of a Drupal for Universities Consortium to try and get some feedback / discussion from the rest of the community.

Module Development

I've been messing around with the idea of a module I want to develop in order to get a new drupal site off the ground. I've been looking for ways to get the idea put out there in order to get comments and more importantly critiques, but haven't managed to get much of either. It was suggested to me to post to the Contrib Module Ideas group so I did: http://groups.drupal.org/node/10318.

So how do you guys generate discussion about your ideas around the drupal community? What am I missing?

Introduction: Central Eastern Pennsylvania Drupal Group.

Hello to all of those that have found this Drupal group. I created this group because all the organized Drupal meet-ups seem to be just a bit out of my reach. I am sure, or shall I say hoping, that there are others that are in Central Eastern Pennsylvania that feel the same. I live in Danville, Pa and think that between Danville, Bloomsburg, Williamsport, State College, Wilkes Barre, Scranton, Harrisburg and all areas in between we have the making for a really active Drupal Group. If you are in theses areas, please subscribe to this group and lets start planning our first Drupal meet up.
