Welcome
Welcome to the Chico / Butte County Drupal User Group page.
The official Chico / Butte County Drupal User Group meets somewhat sporadically throughout the year.
We are very welcoming of new users, and encourage you to join us in person to learn more about Drupal, and how the software and community can help solve your technical challenges.
Meetup in November?
Hey folks! If you'd like to try another meetup this month, please comment here and suggest a good time and place. I'm currently looking at the 22nd-23rd weekend, potentially at the Chico library, potentially from 12:30 - 1:30.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Drupal Diversity & Inclusion advocates through SFDUG are hosting a Speaker Diversity Workshop to help speakers from underrepresented groups prepare to speak at conferences. This will in turn help local meetups, Drupal Camps, and even DrupalCons develop a more diverse speaker roster. The workshop helps folks bust through their impostor syndrome and develop a topic, title, pitch, bio, and outline. #DrupalSpeakerDiversity
The workshop covers:
- Impostor syndrome
- Finding a topic
- Better speaker tips
- Writing a great pitch
- Creating an outline
- Creating great slides

Hi!
Looking forward to seeing faces old and new as we move in to 2016 with our first meeting of the year.
No specific agenda this time but hopefully an opportunity to connect and talk about anything that comes up and help or be helped where possible.
Someone will be around at Midtown Local from 5pm until 9pm in case you want to swing by early or can't make it until later on.
See you there!
