Eastern Idaho

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.
This group should probably have more organizers. See documentation on this recommendation.

Our goal is to promote Drupal use among our Eastern Idaho IT fellowship.

We would also like to know who out there is currently working with Drupal, Modules, Themes, etc.

Due to the geographic diversity of the state I think it best to limit this group to the Eastern side of the state.

  • American Falls
  • Ashton
  • Blackfoot
  • Driggs
  • Dubois
  • Fort Hall
  • Franklin
  • Grace
  • Idaho Falls
  • Island Park
  • Lava Hot Springs
  • Malad City
  • Montpelier
  • Paris
  • Pocatello
  • Preston
  • Rexburg
  • Soda Springs
  • St. Anthony
  • Swan Valley
  • Victor

Boise has a growing group and can be found here.

Join us for Devsigner (designers + developers) Conference in Portland this May

The first ever Devsigner Conference is happening in Portland May 23-25, and we'd love to see you there!

Devsigner is a brand new event that will bring together frontend developers and technology-oriented designers and invite them to share their expertise, helping them take frontend development to the next level. We will be using Drupal as an assumed base platform, but since frontend development isn't tied to a particular backend, our audience includes any frontend dev and web-focused designer.

August Meetup

Is there any interest in a August meetup?

Potential places: Rexburg, Idaho Falls, Pocatello

Maybe this should be an informal meeting to see what direction we want to take the User Group.

Please comment if you are interested and where you are located so we can centralize where the people are.

Eastern Idaho Meet-Up?

How much interest would there be in a Meet-Up in Eastern Idaho? I just moved from Salt Lake up to Rexburg and I would love to get together with some fellow Drupalers here in Idaho. I'm thinking Idaho Falls might be a good central location.

Please leave a comment expressing your interest and let's get something put together!

This group...

I noticed this group a while ago and decided to join. I don't see any discussions going on or meetings being planned.

I have a couple of questions for the purpose of this group.

  1. What geographical area is this group supposed to cover? All of Idaho or just a small part of the state?
  2. Do you plan on having any meetups in the future, and where?
  3. Who are you all, and in what part of the state do you live?

Myself:
I am James Glasgow and I live in Nampa.
