There is currently a Japanese group, but most if not all communication is done in Japanese, which is great! This group offers more of an English based group as a world language to bridge the gap of communication and set it to one language. Looking to grow this group into constructive meetings, and community donation projects to help build Drupal in a positive light in Japan. (Eigo, Japanese for English).

What I am trying to do:
I am creating a site for a small soccer school. The owner is reasonably computer literate, but I would prefer not to expose him to a full set of admin screens.
What he needs is a way to create a new "class" (in the school sense of the word), add students to that class, add some tags to it (i.e., class name, day of week, level). He also needs to be able to easily post to all or subgroups of his students (could be a class, could be all classes on Tuesday)

Hey Everyone, so we have a group, so now what?
I have some goals for this group.
One: A place where people like myself working in Japan with Drupal can find answers to their problems when it comes to building a Drupal project in English/Japanese/Other languages.
Two: Give back to the community, with community built projects that help others in need and put Drupal in a good light in Japan.
Three: Have fun, get some camps going, workshops and more.
