One of the days / nights I'm there, our team from NASA is going to eat at Mehfil Indian Cuisine, and I would like to invite others to join us if interested. I just bought a MacBook for $799, no tricks, no hitch. Thought I'd share this tip here with the Houston group. Oh one more thing: There is on open box return for like $80 less than that, but it wasn't out on the display shelf yet when I got there Saturday.

Drupal Codeathon/Hackfest/Jam Session
Hi all,
Who would be up for an all-day coding event on May 29th (a Saturday)?
We could get together and build a charity site, a web app, a... well, anything really. Ideas are welcome!
This is a great way for us to learn from each other, and I think it would be a lot of fun. Please let me know if you are in, and how you think you could best contribute to the project (design, content, site building, theming, module development).
Perhaps some sponsors might be willing to contribute to a pizza fund even. :)

I am an independent Drupal consultant, and until I began sharing work and overlapping projects, I was doing ok with a personal wiki, google docs, and FreshBooks. Lately, however, I find myself sharing more workload with others (and having to ping back periodically, "How is it coming?" as well as touching base with the client with status updates on things I can't readily know), and I would like to hear what tools you have found useful and why.

AIR Houston
Would anyone be interested in getting together a group for AIR Houston? For those unfamiliar, AIR is a one-day event where dev teams build a site for a non-profit in 8 hours and compete with other teams based on the accessibility of their site. I have participated in the past, and it is kind of fun.
I think they are still working on the site for this year's competition, but I thought I'd plant the seed now. The events probably won't start until September, so there is plenty of time to think about it

I'd like for us to throw around some ideas and then set up a list and schedule for future meetings.
So far I've seen taxonomy, forms, theming (much to discuss there), and I suspect performance tweaks might be a good one.
