DrupalCamp finally come to the Himalayas. The first ever camp is being organised on the 19th October at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
The event is being organised to spread awareness about Open Source technologies and Drupal in particular. There will be couple of introductory sessions in first half which will be followed by quiz competition and community mixer.
In the evening we have planned an overnight Drupal.org code contribution session. If some of the participants are upto it, then 20th could be well spent trekking to Triund.

How to hook drupal's actual service resources
Hi Friends,
Am a newbie to service module and having a small doubt in it. I want to check an additional data while creating a node. I am using drupal's resource 'service_name/node' for creating node. But before creating I want to check the user's role also. I know that we can have our own resource using hook_service_resources and node_save(). But i want to know how to use drupal's defualt resource.

The Indian Drupal community is organizing Drupal Camp Delhi 2013 on 09th and 10th Nov at the JNU Convention Centre, New Delhi.
We are in the process of building an efficient Volunteering team, getting eminent Drupalers to deliver sessions at the event and creating a strong Sponsorship base to ensure that the event turns out to be a great success. Our goals for this edition include gathering community from all over the country and an increased international representation.
