Welcome to the Groups site for the Nebraska Developers and Users Group, where we discuss, share and find ways to provide local face-to-face interaction which can support activities like hosting speakers, providing tutorials, Question and Answer sessions, establishing relationships with others in the geographic area, and generally expand the community of Drupal users.
As of 2024, our meetings are held bi-monthly in Omaha.

Nebraska Code Camp April 9

The inaugural Nebraska Code Camp is coming to the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on April 9. The code camp, an event put together by the Lincoln .NET Users Group and the Nebraska's college of computer science, will take place at the university's Avery Hall. The community-driven developer conference will feature 25 sessions featuring local and regional speakers. Registration is free and can be completed through the code camp's online signup page.

Drupalcamp Colorado 2011 June 11th and 12th in Denver
Howdy folks!
Very exciting news here that Drupalcamp Colorado will be June 11th and 12th at Denver's King Center facility on the Auraria campus (next door to the building where it was in 2010).
After a 300+ turnout last year we hope to have 400 people this year and have a limit of about 500. Can we sell out again?

Defining local Drupal utopia and planning the way there
We're working on a strategic plan for the Nebraska Drupal Group, and as we're not the first to think about this (or the last who'll need to), I thought it might be helpful to open up the discussion to the broader community. Perhaps we can come up with something of a reusable framework. To which end, I'm asking a two-part question: 1) what would a local Drupal utopia look like, and 2) what can we do in our local groups to help create one? After the pattern of a standard, goals-based strategic plan, I've drafted up the following mission and vision:
