Ok, I'm going to get the ball rolling for those of us in the western part of NH that were at the meet up last week and discussed starting one in Keene. I work second shift and Thursday is the best night for me because I have it off. Would Thursday work for others?

Second
I was just going to suggest we meet up in Keene. We'll have some office space available in central square if there is interest. Not sure about the exact days yet, but I think Thursday sounds alright. Also open to Mondays.
Third
Keene works for me, I can make most any evening although I have scattered commitments throughout the month.

I'd really be interested in
I'd really be interested in attending these but Thursdays are definitely out for me. Mondays or Wednesdays would be best on my end. (I'd actually prefer to meet during the day but am sensitive to other people's commitments and the fact that I'm a late comer to the conversation).
Count me in
Best time for me are evenings. Just not Tuesday evening.
I suggest setting up a Doodle...
Doodle is great for this sort of planning... lets folks pick multiple day/times options.
Set one up and post the linkage, so you can find the best time for the most people...
Thanks for the tip!!
I created a Doodle poll to help figure out days for the meet up the link is http://www.doodle.com/xax25hyi2uba2n6y

ha, sorry!
Good Call -- Doodle
Ignore the actual dates and just check off what days/times you are available to meet. I included some variety: lunch/afternoon and then a few evening times: Doodle Keene User's Group
Let's meet
How about we kick things off!
Monday the 15th or Thursday the 18th at 7pm seems like the best time slots for those who responded thus far.
Can we line up some topics and does anyone know a good location to meet in or around Keene?
Either day works for me
Either of these 2 dates are fine for me.

The Keene Public Library is open and has a meeting room but there is a $20 charge to use the room after 6:00 PM

I have no problem chipping in to rent the room if we can't find somewhere else.

Open Source Means Free
We have a new office at 39 Central Square and will host meetups (for free with no ulterior motives). We just moved in, so it's not "pretty," but there is plenty of open space. Once we agree on a day/time, we can schedule the first meetup and see how everyone likes it. Depending on the time of day, we may even spring for some pizza and refreshments. Sound good?
Most evenings work for me
I would love to attend this Drupal User Group meeting in Keene. I work at UMass and live in Brattleboro. UMass just adopted Drupal as their cms so we are all on a fast learning track. 7pm would be ideal. That would give me time to get home and drive to Keene. Let me know if anyone else is coming from Brattleboro. Perhaps we can carpool.
Two of three solved
1) We've got a location: 39 Central Square, Keene
@pcorbett, do you have a projector already at the office?
2) We've got a date and time: Thursday the 18th at 7pm
3) As for topics to discuss . . . does anyone want to volunteer to present something?
I was thinking our meetup might go something like this:
Thoughts?
I think this looks good so
I think this looks good so far, For topics I would be interested in learning more about: Theming Views, Drush, Drupal 7, site security,

Bummed...can't do Thursdays
I can't make Thursday nights as I'm in Hooksett for hockey practice but would be happy to present on a number of topics if a different night. (Yes I voted on doodle). Mondays work well for me. Possibilities for presentations include:
We don't have a projector as
We don't have a projector as of now, so someone else will need to bring one if that's what you'd like to use. We have plenty of laptops and external monitors to use as displays and there doesn't seem to be too many for the first meeting, so hopefully those will suffice as backup options. The 18th at 7pm works for us, so I'd say if anyone else wants their voice heard, please fill out the Doodle schedule! The other viable time looks like Monday at 6pm.
Not to beat a dead horse but...
I can get a projector if it's Mondays instead of Thursdays.
I don't mind beating a dead horse . .
Perhaps we could switch to a Monday meeting next time to accommodate others' schedules?
The last local DUG I was a
The last local DUG I was a part of did this without issue, perhaps we can take a pulse during the first meet. With that said, we'll never meet everyone's needs all the time :)
Topics for first meet
As Thursday nears, I figure we'll self-organize the agenda during the meet, but I wanted to try and see where those who plan on attending are at experience-wise. Is everyone coming intermediate or higher or is there interest in finding out what Drupal is all about?
I'm gonna try to make it
Not sure if my schedule will let me get there, but I'm gonna try.
I'm beginner/intermediate with Drupal... Not enough experience to present anything, but very enthusiastic about the platform.

Meetup Agenda, 11/18/10
Tonight, I'll start things off here and propose:
Again, we're meeting at 39 Central Sq.... take the elevator to 3rd floor and head straight! We'll have some soda and water out for everyone.
Excellent. Really looking
Excellent. Really looking forward to the meeting.

It's always weird to say that you're at an expert level so let's just go with intermediate or higher. Very interested in Features, Context, Advanced Theming, etc. (I'm also pleased to report that I can make the meeting tonight because of a cancellation elsewhere).
I plan on attending
I'm some where between novice and intermediate, I plan on upgrading a site from Drupal 6 to 7 in the next day or so could use that for a discussion if nothing else comes up.

I'll be there
I'll be there tonight and I would say that I'm somewhere in the intermediate range.
Neil, can you bring your projector just in case we need one?
I'd be interested in seeing a D7 intro.
I've only touched 5 & 6.

Unfortunately I can't get the projector for tonight. Assuming I can make the date for next time, I'll prepare in advance.
