Anyone With General Availability for Contract Work?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi,

I wanted to see who might have general availability / is looking for projects, more clients, contract work, etc.? I get far more requests and inquiries than I can possibly accept. I'm rather embarrassed that I haven't even done a very good job of always responding in a timely manner to people who contact me.

The inquiries are get a myriad in nature. A fair amount is for eCommerce. Some for conversions of websites. I can't make any guarantees, but if anyone here is looking for more work/projects I would rather refer when possible within this group. In case this matters, the vast majority of people contacting me are not located in Utah.

I would be interested in at least getting notified of any extra projects. We have busy times and slow times so during the slow times I would definitely appreciate the extra projects for myself and those who work with me.

Thanks!

Matt,

Any idea on the client budget and constraints? We're always interested in new projects and would happily take on additional work with the right client.

Hi,

I get all types of inquiries, I think. Although I doubt very many of them are in the "super high budget" category (in the sense of tens of thousands). I hope I wasn't misleading in my initial post. The window of opportunity has probably passed on past inquiries - one of those "I keep meaning to reply" scenarios but I've been quite swamped - no excuse). I thought I would see about availability and interest in general to be prepared.

For me, the inquiries aren't tons daily, but they add up and really seem to come in spurts. It seems to increase whenever I get around to posting a new article/blurb on my site or in a Forum. I get a lot of natural search traffic on Ubercart topics for some reason, and 2 of the 3 modules I've contributed thus far are for Ubercart. So a considerable percentage of inquiries are eCommerce/Ubercart-specific - if any especially enjoys that.

Please feel free to post or email me (my name at MY ID with a dot com) if you have specific interests, and I can keep an eye out.

Also, there was a post after mine from Rocket and Walker. If anyone reading can take a look, that would be great. Great folks. I've worked with them on a number of projects over the last year or two. There is a project I've been involved with that's approaching a launch date. My various obligations and some pressing personal commitments hinders my availability. It is an Ubercart project, but there are some things to finish that aren't Ubercart specific. I would love to see someone in this group involved who has extra time in the next few days to finish some tasks and help do some testing. I think it's a pretty fun site.

We are a new company still young and learning Drupal, but love it. I would be extremely interested in networking, and sharing work. Right now I am trying to get a 6 website job and could possibly need to have some help, that way I would not have to hire some more people at this time in my company.
