Receent events Calendar block and page

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I want to make a page and block of recent events. Does anyone know how I would go about doing that? Thank you

Goto Views, you may have to enable the Calendar View and when you edit it will have the options for page and block displays to chance how you need them.

The calendar wizard thingy builds a date view with an upcoming events block already configured.

Ofcourse you can place the blocks created by going to admin/build/blocks
