Hey all
I'm at the point where I'm just about to close the warehouse due to lack of use. I've been paying the rent of $2000/month since opening and made very little money back. Most of you have seen the place at one time or another or have visited the website (http://webdevwarehouse.com) so you probably know what it's all about.
Ironically, as soon as I started mentioning closing it down, I have had 2 people tell me that they would be interested in renting a desk 2 days per week (a cost of $50 + GST). If I can find at least another 3 people who could make that same commitment, or an even lower number who want a desk for more days/week, then I can afford to keep it going. If not, then I will have to close it down.
So, if you think you would like to work here a couple days a week, and can commit to that arrangement, please let me know ASAP.
Have a great day!
Shaun

I reckon it's a really good idea. I am too far away to make the daily commute or else I would use it.

thanks guys
It was a nice idea in principle, but simply the wrong place. Anyway the decision's made now, I'm in the process of closing it down now.
For what its worth I can
For what its worth I can commit to one day a week from next week haven't made it so far as my laptop has been out of action for over a month. Looking to move closer in to the city at the moment so would be interested in working a couple days there then.
great!
Hey Mbug
It would be great to have you in there. You'll see if you go to http://webdevwarehouse.com/rates that I've cut the rates in half. So it's definitely now a very cheap option :) It's a great place to work, very peaceful, lots of natural light, good coffee :)
Still interested...
Have been delayed by family matters overseas and clients that insist I work with them on site, so haven't been able to commit. Hope to join for a day or two a week soon, but can't promise any dates. Would be a shame if this great initiative dies, though.
no worries
That's cool, Rik, you have to what's right for your business and life. It would be good to have you there though :)
Will be in touch!
I'll know more by end of next week when my schedule for the coming months should have firmed up.
