I noticed there has been some discussion about providing drupal training perhaps before a meeting, or at some other time/location. I was not able to attend last week monthly meeting, so I'm not sure what the latest news is. However, given that a North County group is in the process of starting, perhaps the meetings could use some additional content/structure to fill up the time.
I was thinking that perhaps we could institute a Module for the Month training session within the meeting time. This would serve to train newbies (like myself) and provide a forum for experts (like you guys) to demonstrate or comment on the pros / cons of a particular module.
I wouldn't mind kicking off a module presentation to get this started. I've been working with FillPDF lately and can demonstrate its usage.
Let me know if anyone is in favor of adding this element to our meeting sessions.

Might be worth compiling a list of modules maintained by San Diego drupallers - so we know who to hit up for presentations :) Kevin's is a great example!
