Architecture/Code Sprint - A roundtable discussion where we will talk about challenges with Drupal. Along the lines of: "I would like to build Flickr in Drupal, what's the best way to tackle it?" Rather than just throw out, "Oh, that's easy, views and taxonomy," we actually build a proof of concept. Bring your toolbox and thinking cap.

Awesome. Well, we're on for the location in the event details above. Since we're providing the venue, anyone else willing to sponsor pizza? We could even give the company/person a few minutes to promote what they do to make it happen. :)

Parking?

Where is the best place to park? Where is #3002?

Park in the parking garage

amariotti's picture

Park in the parking garage just south of the building on the corner of 200 W and 200 S. The entrance to the garage is on the street south of 2nd South called Pierpont Ave. I will provide validations to those that drive, but check from street parking if you can first. Head into the building on the corner and either call me at ### or text me at ### (free) and someone will run down to let you in.

3002 is just the suite number in the building, it's on the 3rd floor... so the first door on the left outside of the elevator. Call or text with questions using the info above.

See everyone there! Any word on pizza yet? :)

Sounds cool!

I can bring funds for pizza

WebNewCastle's picture

I can bring funds for pizza to reimburse someone, but I don't think I'll be able to pick anything up myself. My schedule remains pretty impacted,, so I'll probably be late getting there (but I'll try to be there close to 7).

I think Papa John's

I think Papa John's delivers...if that's easier. :)

I really don't know how I missed this and am a bit upset with myself about it. Well hopefully it won't ve months before we can get together again.

THANKS!

Great meet-up last night. Had a couple of great discussions, and a great presentation from dharmatech on xdebug and webgrind. Also a huge thanks to Matt (WebNewCastle) for supplying us with pizza and drinks (sorry for the lack of cups, once again). Overall it was a great meetup and we had a great turnout (10?).

After the meetup we discussed that most would be interested in doing a "code sprint" type meetup next time where we could break up into groups and build a site or two together. At the end we would share our experience and solution with the rest of the group. Everyone seemed pretty supportive of it, and I think everyone would take-away a ton from it. We'll start a discussion soon for the April "code-sprint-type" meetup so we make sure we're prepared! Thanks everyone!

Andrew (amariotti)

Thank You!
