Hi,
I would like to make a Yelp-like site with Drupal.
I think there are a lot of people interested in this.
Could a more experienced user write a good tutorial so as to help the others?
Which modules should we use?
Thanks in advance for your time

How to make the categories of Yelp?
Anyone help please?
Use taxonomy for categories
We used Drupal's taxonomy for the categories on our site Urbo.ro. There are many modules that can deal with taxonomy display, but in the end we wrote our own custom modules to display the categories exactly like we wanted: Urbo firm categories
Unfortunately there is no cookie cutter way to directory sites since each has different needs. Instead, you'll need to combine a lot of modules (CCK, Views, Taxonomy) and then add some custom code to adjust to your needs.

Wow!
I can't read it but I can get the gist of how it works... And that's awesome! http://urbo.ro/bucuresti-ilfov/bucuresti/cautare/type/Auto%2Bsi%2BTransp... is like the Holy Grail for me. LOL! Pity it was custom modules... I would love to be able to just download something that can do that. I've been fighting with Drupal for so long to make a decent business directory and haven't managed it yet.
