Hello Everyone,
I have not been able to make it to a meetup since the suburban meetup in Phoenixville. Life often gets in the way of Drupal.
Recently I have begun to read and read and read some more about D7 module development. Often my eyes cross, I scratch my head and say WTF. Maybe some of you are experiencing the same thing?
I am not a coder by profession or trade so Drupal concepts often take me longer to learn than most. The Drupal meetups are great but I am just not wired to learning in that environment.(I like to socialize a little to much.)
My proposal is to meet with a specific goal of learning the guts(hooks & API's) of the Drupal 7 platform and how to develop modules the right way for the future.
This meetup could be in the area or even online. 1 hr in length and as often as the group elects to meet. Keeping it small is another goal and if there is a lot of interest then more than one group is an option.
If anyone is interested please let me know.
Will

Trainings at Drupalcon
Obviously more expensive and less convenient to home, but if you can come to Drupalcon (you should), I believe there may be some seats left in our training session: http://chicago2011.drupal.org/training/introduction-module-development-d...
Sorry I'll miss it.
Hey Jody,
Would love to be there but just can't make it to Drupalcon this year.
Maybe you can do a Philly version in the spring.
