Code Fest

Calling all advanced and intermediate Drupal and PHP developers to join the fight against homelessness this Saturday June 23rd!

Help contribute to HopeOneSource’s (Hope with Love) nonprofit mission to increase access to local services for those in need which has helped reduce overall homelessness in DC since this Drupal based tech solution launched 2.5 years ago.

This code sprint will help ensure the platform scales beyond DC to help those who are most vulnerable in other regions gain access to the vital and often life-saving services and resource they need.

The Code for America Philly Team wants to invite you to join us in making Philadelphia a better place. We're seven tech geeks that are looking at how Philly works and finding ways to use technology to improve it. We want to wrangle other Philadelphians interested in open data and civic tech to help us in this endeavor. At the labs days, people from the city government and the community come together, learn from each other, pitch small projects to work on, break into teams, and accomplish awesome stuff.

Fellow Media Moguls,

We're shaking off the dust from the Media module, which was sadly neglected during the heady Summer of Code, where we got Stream Wrappers into core! I'm excited to meet now with my fellow Drupalistas, and get the module presentable for Drupal 7 (and Drupal 6, if anyone is interested in helping on that front).

Core Patching Fest: This is a day/evening for Drupal developers and site builders who want to start helping in the core issue queue, for experienced contributors who would like to help novice patchers and get their patches reviewed, and just for everyone in our area who wants to take some time to help make a better Drupal 7 or become a better Drupal contributor and coder.
