Automated Web Testing with Selenium
Every software development group tests its products, yet delivered software often has defects. Test engineers strive to catch bugs before a product is released, but they always creep in and they often reappear, even with the best manual testing processes. Automated software testing is the best way to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and coverage of your software testing. DrupalCon Austin ticket for sale
I have a ticket for DrupalCon Austin 2014, but unfortunately my plans have changed and I will no longer be able to attend. Tickets are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to another person (see http://austin2014.drupal.org/tickets).
I purchased the ticket at the early-bird pricing ($400), and I would be happy to just break even. Ticket prices are currently $550, and they will be $600 on-site, so this is a great deal no matter what.

The purpose of this page is to gather thoughts on Philadelphia's proposal to the Drupal Association to hold North America's 2009 Drupalcon in Philadelphia. Please feel free to add any ideas or suggestions.
Questions that need to be answered:
-
What will be the legal entity contracting with vendors, putting down deposits, putting forward their credit history, etc. Presumably the answer is the Drupal Association.
-
What challenges might a local group face in working the Drupal Association?
-
Will Acquia put in $ and some other heavy lifting as they did for Drupalcon Boston?
