We might also go over some of the support infrastructure ideas (http://groups.drupal.org/support-infrastructure) that are being discussed. I'd like to get the opinions of people that regularly user drupal.org message boards and other support areas, including other websites.

I like the idea about support infrastructure. I would also like to get a better understanding of where to go to get answers about different kinds of topics (e.g., about the internal database structure of the Drupal Core).

I have several other things I would be interesting in finding out more about:

  1. How to make partially dynamic superfish menus. I want to get some XML from another server via a Module at the start of each user session and have this structure be the drop downs off of one of the menu items (the others would remain constant for all users).
  2. How to feed a table like the one we developed last time, but instead of going against the database, I would like to call a REST web service and process the results into the table.
  3. I would like to discuss the implications of the change to field-in-table architecture of Drupal 7 vs. the content-type-in-table of Drupal 6 and earlier. Especially in cases where one might have content types with dozens or even hundreds of fields in a content type.

Together with the items mentioned above, that should be enough material to cover the first half of the meeting;-)
