I'm a newbie to drupal and i need to search data from a particular table. Can any one give me solution to my question. Idea needed ASAP.

Did you select the Groups for this post randomly, or…?
Could you be more explicit as to what you're trying to do and/or what you've tried already? Have you looked at exposed filters for Views?

I'm just curious, @sabarins - since you mentioned a particular table, are you actually asking about querying the database directly? If so, you'll want to get into phpMyAdmin to view the actual tables of your database. We'd probably need to know how you're hosted to help you find that, and there's also a MySQL group here on Drupal.org. http://groups.drupal.org/mysql.
