Adding description to front page

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi I am using openpublish on my site www.car99.net and would like to add a description to the front page

i have added the module meta tags and can add keywords and descriptions to any articles, posts .... but not the front page

Surely this is a question for the nodewords group?!

Anyway, use 'Custom Page Meta Tags' then create a page for < front > (close spaces).
