Chapter3 seems to be cross-posting their training events into many groups, including those far removed geographically form where the training is happening.
My take is that this is crossing the line into abuse. Such events obviously are reasonably for geographically close groups, and also for http://groups.drupal.org/curriculum-and-training which specifically invites them.
I propose unpublishing/deleting these otherwise, but want to be cleat about our policy.

After some discussion in irc
After some discussion in irc with pwolanin it seems that this was a case of mistaken copy/pasting on Jen's part and insufficient investigation on peter's part.
The chapter3 trainings are in Washington DC so all of those regional groups are relevant to the DC area and areas within 1 travel day.
I agree that trainings should be treated a bit like job posts - minimally cross-posted (4 groups or so) and only to those geographically or topically relevant.
EDIT: One further thought - unless obviously otherwise, we should assume that people made a mistake and ask them, nicely, to correct it prior to modifying their content for them.
