RSS to Post to Social Media ????

Hey guys,

I am looking for a simple way to to take RSS content, convert it to a post or blog posting and then send it out to social media.

Any suggestions?

At the very least, go from RSS content to actual post and have the option of using social media posting via a "like" link or "Add to Any" or something like that.

Check out the Feeds module

William, the Feeds module takes incoming RSS feed data and creates corresponding nodes on your site, to which you could then attach a Like flag thereto.

Do you mean the built in "feed aggregator"?

IF that is the case I have not found a way to 'attach' "like" flags to it, without going through all the code and messing with it...

also that modules deletes content after a certain period of time and the longest I can have it on my site is 16 weeks.

I figured out that you meant the 2nd option of, http://drupal.org/project/feeds....

So I installed CTools and Job Scheduler as required, not a lot to do with those except to turn them on.

I followed the basic set up rules to set up the 'site building/feed importers', it was a bit confusing a first, but the next thing I knew is it imported 10 items. I thought HOW COOL, then saw it just through a bunch of errors as I did not set a content page correctly (I had it set to 'use standalone form') and it attempted to use CCK to generate content.

So I created a new content type and selected it under the basic settings for "Attach to content type".

I thought, that must be it.... ran cron and nothing, no new content created, not even sure how to make it GO (manually).... I waited for 30minutes and still nothing, no new content being pulled in yet.

Any suggestions?
