May DUG Meeting

This months meeting will be a little bit different. The BPOC people are having fun with some of their other friends, so we're going to meetup at Digitaria's office downtown.

Digitaria has an amazing new office downtown that overlooks petco park from the 12th floor of a highrise at the corner of the park. It's right next to FIT gym and the Tilted Kilt pub. There's a security office downstairs, so we'll be shuttling people up, call my cell phone[druroot:619.672.4849] if you have any trouble with the guard.

This month Joel Farris will be talking about simpletest, while Andrew Root goes over a basic Drupal commerce setup. We also have a series of announcements surrounding our sprints, COD, and Sandcamp.

After that, we'll get into some lightning talks.

Lightning talks give anyone (and I mean anyone - you, the person next to you and the one across the room) the chance to discuss a recent Drupal thought, observation, or experience that takes five minutes or less to talk about. You can teach us something, wonder out loud why X doesn't work like you think it should, or ask questions about some Drupally thing you're struggling to understand. The only rule for Lightning Talks is that you're going to be stopping at five minutes whether you're done or not. Other than that's it's fair game, so step up and have fun!
