Topics for Oct. meeting: Omega theme for 6.x?
I'd like to know if anyone has experience working with the Omega theme for Drupal 6. I'd like to try using it on some sites for the company I work for ... except that I haven't been able to get a block.tpl.php file to work with the theme. The file works just fine with the Fusion theme, but won't work with Omega. Some help with that would be great.

Place and time?
Just to give you all a heads-up: Any event that might cut into my workday (I work 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday) has to go on my calendar before Monday morning (9 a.m.) of that week so that the rest of the team knows about it in advance.
So if you all want to meet on the 25th, I'll need to know the time and location no later than the evening of Sunday, Oct. 23. Thanks!

We need to pick a time, a location and some topics.
If nobody else comes up with a location, I can always volunteer the meeting room at the La Quinta in Greensboro (off Wendover).
As for time, anything 6 or later works best for me.
Topics.. I'm pretty open on that. I usually have a little bit to say about anything.

It may be worth noting that it is probably best to keep the topics fairly general. We don't want to get bogged down with trying to troubleshoot a specific case for one or more people. We should try to focus on something that will be useful for everybody. I don't know about anybody else, but I personally do my best debugging sitting in front of my desktop with a cup of coffee and wearing pajamas anyways ;)

How to create multiple instances of Drupal or a Multi-Site installation to facilitate Drupal development offline.
Then, how to transfer those developments and go live.

Another topic I'm interested in is Theming, Styling, & making a Drupal website look great or finding Designs that can be adapted. Also, a look at Design Practices (like 960.gs) and graphics programs, tools, and other options to get a Drupal site to look great.

That is probably a good 1 to 2 hour meeting. I can do a presentation on Drush.. did anybody want to volunteer to do one on either of the other two? If not.. I can put something together for them as well.
Local Development
I can speak to Acquia devdesktop install as a local environment on a PC and demo a sample install. Both as multi site local on same code base or mutiple site. Also the settings.php changes needed when uploading and .htaccess rewrite if loaded as a subdomain. I'm not an expert but have slogged through a few installs.
