Hi Folks. I have successfully installed Drupal 6.22 manually on my hosted service at GoDaddy, but have run into a problem trying to install OpenPublish.
Based on similar experiences with other hosted installations noted here, I've made the following changes to the php.ini file (I started lower and have increased to these values):
max_execution_time = 1200
max_input_time = 1200
memory_limit = 300M
After selecting the language (English), the installation stalls. In FireFox I get prompted to download a blank install.php file. In Chrome it gives me a 324 Error (ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE - The server closed the connection without sending any data).
Any clues on what I should be looking at or change to complete the install? Thanks a ton for any and all help.
Regards,
Elliot

Avoid GoDaddy like the plague
If you are attempting to do anything of any complexity, I'd strongly recommend against hosting at GoDaddy.
While I'm not sure of what's causing your issue, I seen countless issues with GoDaddy's hosted services over the years - everything from databases getting hosed during server "upgrades" to tech "support" that was completely clueless.
So, even if you get this problem solved, you would still be stuck with the underlying issue that you are on GoDaddy infrastructure, and the only way to fix that is to move hosts.
