I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct place. I've done a search on Google and on the drupal.org and Ubercart but I don't seem to find the answer.
Before I delve into creating an ecommerce site for my new client using Drupal/Ubercart, I need to know if this CMS can handle printing a pre-paid UPS label for a customer can download to send an item to the store.
My client wants to be able to pay for shipping of their customer's items to her store so.
If this is the wrong place to post or if there is a thread or module that will answer my question, I'd appreciate a link to it.
Thanks
Dorys

@dorys - I am not sure I totally undertand your question but I can outline what Ubercart is capable of in this regard. (Note a lot of this probably applies to Drupal 6 but see my final comment below.) Ubercart has a UPS module where you can enter your UPS shipper info. You need to go through a very tricky and thorough "certification" process to be able to "ship" packages from within Ubercart. Once you have it all set, when an order is placed by the customer, you can go into Ubercart and "create packages". This will indeed render an actual UPS barcoded label that you can print out. (note, see this thread how to get certification mode working, it's a bit kludgy but it worked for me: http://drupal.org/node/696488 ). Once you get your certification files sent to UPS and they approve you, you are good to go. I hope this helps. If you are using Drupal 7, you may also want to look at Drupal Commerce, however since I have not thoroughly tested Commerce yet, i am not really sure of its UPS shipping and label capabilities are. However, Ubercart has been ported to Drupal 7.

I'd like to know if there's a way to get the barcode and product information from our Jewelry labels which we print to a packing slip. Maybe use some custom product fields?
