So I FINALLY just nailed down my contact at SNHU again after her vacation, and discussed pinning down our details for camp.
It appears that October 1st will not work now... another large group that was going to be on campus (booked previously) also took the auditorium that we'd need for the proposed event size.
I'm meeting her at the venue tomorrow to ensure it will work, and go over more details and drop off a deposit for the venue. Right now, the proposed date is pushed out to October 29th. The 8th and 15th are campus events, the 22nd was booked, and the 29th being the next available date...
I will post more after tomorrow, and hopefully I can have a signed contract and move forward with this date and launch the site (after we do some QA testing of course!)

And on that note...
And based on that... moving the camp to the end of October does two things...
It makes it a full month after Montreal's camp, which will make it easier for some to attend both, and it might make it possible for one of the featured speakers i have planned to attend (who was out of town on the 1st)...
This also gives me/us an entire additional month to plan, prepare, and make this a GREAT camp!!!
The only "bad" part of this would be that it is getting colder around that time, and i freakin' hate cold weather camps... :P
With that being said, I may need to put some snow in the design.... LOL

I think the end of Oct is
I think the end of Oct is better than trying to move if forward into September it will give us at 4 months to plan and pull it together. I think it might be too early to put snow on the trees but maybe a little halloween touch would be good.
