Join us for our next Toronto Drupal User Group meeting on July 25. The meeting with take place at CSI, 215 Spadina Ave, Suite 120, starting at 6:30pm.

Please note, the front door closes at 6pm, so you may need to go through the Dark Horse Cafe. They have some amazing espresso. The cafe closes at 7pm, meaning you will not be able to enter the building after 7pm.

I've been doing some drush scripting for data imports. I can share some basics for writing Drush scripts.

Kirsten Davidson, Myplanet's Event Planner, will be there as well to get an insight into what's needed for DrupalCamp. We've already given her much information thanks to everyone who had access to last year's information but it will help to get to meet everyone as well.

Hey Everyone,

I won't be able to be there tonight... which is too bad cause I like custom scripting, and drush, and putting those together is definitely something I'd like to hear more about.

But, I just wanted to give a quick update on drupal kitchen:
- July 11th saw a good turnout. We worked on drupal-kitchen.com and got a nice looking foundation for the new design... also we had dev environments setup pretty quick and some people created some features loaded with content types for the new site. But, the new site is still being worked on.
- July 24th had a much smaller turnout :( I blame great weather on a Sunday :) But, we still managed to make some more features loaded with views for the new site. Again, it's still not done, but it's getting there!

Upcoming events: (I'm thinking to make the 2nd Sunday of the month a larger 6 hour session... then the 3rd Tuesday of the month can be a shorter 3 hour session, which will tie up any loose ends and allow us to properly deliver any projects)
- Sunday August 14th 12pm - 6pm @ CSI 215 Spadina rm 160 - Hope to keep plugging away at drupal-kitchen.com and get most of it done.
- Tuesday August 23th 12pm - 6pm @ CSI 215 Spadina rm 120
