I'm hoping to find a ride from San Diego to DrupalCamp LA next weekend. I can get to your place; just can't drive the distance to LA. Does anybody have room for one more?

I plan to stay in Irvine both days. I don't have hotel reservations yet; can you tell me where folk from SD are staying so I can join see some familiar faces at the afterparty?
I've signed up for the Install Fest which will be first thing so I'm okay with going up Friday night and staying over if anybody else is thinking the same thing. Otherwise early Saturday will work.
I'm in Mission Valley. I can get to Encinitas or Oceanside, but I'm hoping to hear from somebody further south.

Rachel, are you going up for both days? We are, and we want to get a hotel somewhere close to the venue and the afterparty. Are you staying in in Irvine for both days? It would be good to note that in your post because I'm sure some of us will go both days, some will drive up each day, and some will only go for one day.

I'm not sure how this all works yet, but if we post to the forum, will we get emails like we do with comments? I had thought about posting to the forum originally, but figured that rides from SD were more pertinent to the the local DUG.
On the same note relative to how posts work, I had update my original post with more information but didn't see any responses, so I'm wondering if emails go out with updates, or should I have posted another comment with the additional information? If so, here it is so you don't have to look it up.

I'm heading up Saturday morning from Chula Vista (not el cajon, matty) - early early - to help out with setup, etc. Am staying overnight at the Ayres hotel and leaving Sunday afternoon.
If anybody wants a ride in my Babe-mobile (the honda pilot I've been using to shuttle my kids around since they were babies) LMK. :)

If you could pick me up at the Old Town Transit Center (4005 Taylor St. near the intersection of I5 and I8) then I could take the Trolley and leave my car at home. Would that work for you? What time is early? And which Ayres hotel?
