This meeting is one week early, but Platt can get us a room at this time, so let's do it! A man named Richard will be onsite to take care of us. The meeting will be in the classroom called "Purple". There will be an easel out front with a sign "DRUPAL MEETING".

thanks for getting in touch with Platt and arranging everything though. Are they into giving us a room on a regular basis?
Did anyone get contact info from that professor who showed up at the first Platt meeting? Would be nice to get him more involved, or at least find out how he's using drupal in his classroom.

It would be great if everyone could tell one or two people about the meeting tomorrow night. Call, email, skype, or fax, we don't care.
Also, I have not yet reached out to the PHP professor at that school. I will do that right now.

DrupalCamp San Diego
I expect DrupalCamp planning will take up about half of our time.
We should take the opportunity and brainstorm session ideas while lots of people are present.
Also, date and time need to be solidified. Polling people tonight will help.
For the rest of the meeting we could do what you suggested last time: Mini presentations of 5 minutes each by a few people, followed by discussions in small groups.

Ok, that makes sense. We'll start off with planning the camp and taking ideas. Then we shall get everyone who hasn't voted on a prospective date to do so.
Once we've talked through all that, we'll take suggestions on improving our drupalsd.com website.
Then, if there's any time left, we do lightning talks! Awesome!

We'll have lots to discuss about DCSD for this meetup, and the next one too. I've made some changes to the website(drupalsd.com) and seeded a few discussion topics, but we need to get people talking. We can check the forums and discuss relevant items for a while I think. See you all there tomorrow.
