Feedback and issue tracking with Drupal
There is an interesting issue going on right now in the town of Amherst regarding online feedback and issue tracking. See this: http://www.amherstbulletin.com/story/id/121884/
So, I thought one thing to look at is how Drupal sites can handle feedback and issue tracking:

http://drupal.org/project/casetracker
http://drupal.org/project/faq
Other?

Overriding the user account page with panels
I recently procrastinated on another project and figured out some things about panels 2, views, node relativity, date, and overriding the user account page. I should be able to make the meeting...
New module - form panel
Hey folks,
we recently developed a module to help us with webform layout issues:
http://drupal.org/project/form_panel
If folks are interested I can show that.
We also use webform pretty extensively including for gathering feedback - things like student course evaluation forms, help desk ticket requests, etc. I can show some of that as part of the issue tracking discussion.
Hope everyone had a great holiday season,
LDAP
I have a project that wants to use LDAP with Drupal for authentication and I believe also to store user data in it. I am clueless as to what LDAP even is (and what a "directory service" is) and why it is different from any other contact-manager-type database, so would love to discuss. I have a site with the LDAP module installed and trying to get it to work with a free LDAP service here: http://freeldap.org/ so far no luck. If we have time maybe we can go over this.
Sadly, I am just too busy to
Sadly, I am just too busy to make the drive this afternoon, so I hope the meeting goes well.
The form_panel module looks pretty freakin sweet I'll definitely be checking that out.... project module is also worth a look (to second what Ben was saying) we've had some decent results with it
see you guys next month
I think I'm going to come.
I think I'm going to come. I'm interested in learning more about ldap, too. We should try to figure it out together.
