Hey Web Lovers,
We have another Drupal Kitchen approaching - Sunday Oct. 9, 12pm - 6pm at CSI Spadina.
This time we'll be working on a new project, something that I think will be way worth our time and efforts. It's called World Broadband Foundation. This foundation's primary purpose is to develop and administer the World Broadband Map which aims to be 100% crowdsourced from actual active connections whenever possible and not from "advertised" speeds or availability. The foundation also provides assistance in raising and providing funding for deployment of broadband in economically disadvantaged areas including those of low population density or community broadband projects in monopolised areas aka. "broadband of last resort".
Not only is this the type of cause that Drupal Kitchen thrives on, it'll also be a great project for all you Graphic Designers as we will be focusing on a more creative aspect this time. Don't fret Drupal Themers, you'll be busy too.

Wow what a great morning
Wow what a great morning surprise to wake up to. I've met Dustin before (he was appalled I did not carry a smartphone at the time lol) and some of your other guys + Calvin who works with us. Anyhow just got back from the States and getting some things set up there, but looking forward to this :) We still need to get things up by November, pref before that to keep the pressure on the CRTC to make some good decisions by then.
