Hi guys!

Remember just the other day when you were thinking that, even though you're an incredibly awesome PHP programmer and could code a fresh D7 module with your brain tied behind your back, if you only knew Object-Oriented Programming in PHP 5, then you could become truly god-like in your prowess and could bask in the glowing admiration of your peers and eternal gratitude from your clients? Remember that? Well, DREAM NO MORE, because your golden opportunity to become a PHP legend has arrived!

IWDA is running a full-day workshop in Object-Oriented Programming in PHP 5 the day before Drupal Down Under, at the Jasper Hotel, 489 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, Victoria. Lunch is provided, along with lots of interesting and excellent information!

We'll do a range of exercises during the day to teach you all of the most important aspects of object-oriented programming in PHP. You don't need a background in OOP, as the core principles are all explained in simple terms. Just bring your laptop with a functioning PHP environment and a suitable IDE (Eclipse or NetBeans are best) or text editor, your legendary PHP coding skillz, and your brain.

For more details on the course contents, go here: http://iwda.biz/course/php-object-oriented-programming-1

To register for the workshop, go here: http://drupaldownunder.org/ticket/object-oriented-programming-php

This is a really enjoyable and instructive workshop. If you have any questions, please contact me. Look forward to seeing you there, and at DDU!
