You may have noticed that the big "Rename Documentation to Community Documentation" change happened recently -- if not, check out http://drupal.org/documentation and especially individual documentation pages such as http://drupal.org/requirements , to see the new layout.
I just wanted to point out, for people who find this kind of change interesting, that there are many ongoing discussions happening about documentation-related navigation, layout, tools, etc. -- loosely grouped under the heading of "Documentation Infrastructure". If you want to follow or participate in these discussions, they are happening in the drupal.org issue queues. Because the issues are in various projects, what we've done is to create a unifying issue tag called "docs infrastructure" (follow this link to search across projects for docs infrastructure tag).
I'll call your attention to a couple that I think are of particular urgency:
http://drupal.org/node/1392196 -- Choose links for the tabs at the top of Documentation pages. Current proposal is in comment #14
http://drupal.org/node/1405438 -- Discussing removing the Recent Updates page (and redirecting to the much more useful Management view)
http://drupal.org/node/1401960 -- Update the text in the sidebar on http://drupal.org/documentation (I'd really like to get a comment or two on the proposed text)
I hope to see you in the issue discussions!
